40 year-old miner who has lived in this area for the past 29 years, died this morning at his home in Picher Oklahoma. Osborn attended the Commerce Oklahoma schools and was graduated from high school in 1924. A member of the Methodist church in Commerce, Osborn has spent most of his life mining in the Tri-State district. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nola E. Osborn; two children, William E. Osborn and Kathryn Joan Osborn, both of the home; his mother, Mrs. W. D. Barnett, Commerce; stepfather, W. D. Barnett; three sisters, Mrs. Ervin Morrison, Galena Kansas; Mrs. Helen Ballas and Mrs. Bessie Myers, both of San Jose California. Pallbearers will be Harold Jones, Pete Russell, Paul Overly, Bill Poteet, June Walker and Paul Douthitt. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Picher Baptist church. The Rev. W. H. Hawes will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami under direction of the Durnil funeral home, Picher.
