Lee Carl Olds, age 57, of Commerce, died Friday evening. He was born Jul 11, 1917, in Galena Kansas, and had lived most of his life in Commerce. He was employed for 36 years with the Eagle-Picher Company and for the last four years had been employed with the Bingham Chat Company as a shovel operator. He was a member of the Douthat Baptist church. Mr. Olds is survived by his wife, Mrs. Billie Olds, of the home; one son, Larry Lee Olds, Cardin Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. Billie Ann Harris, Port Angles Washington; Mrs. Ruby June Colin, Scales Mound Illinois; five brothers, Otto Olds, Seattle Washington; Don Olds, Bixby Missouri; Joe Olds, Benton Arkansas; Olle Olds, Bonham Texas; Billy Olds, Portland Oregon; four sisters, Mrs. Alta Froam, Mrs. Viola Harrison, Mrs. Mabel McGeehee, and Miss Naomi Olds, all of Pasco Washington. Services will be Monday at 2 pm in the Douthat Baptist church with the Rev. Clyde Stilley and Rev. Bob Fenton officiating. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery, at Miami, under the direction of the Jim Thomas and son funeral home, Commerce. Pallbearers will be Jay Gray, Mike Underhill, Cecil Mahurin, Larry Bingham, Vernon Bingham and John Turner.
