Funeral services for John O'Byrne will be held Friday at 2:30 in the afternoon at the Union church in Picher Oklahoma, the Rev. Mrs. Annabelle Craig officiating. Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Lizzie O'Byrne; four sons, Jimmy O'Byrne and Wayne O'Byrne, in the U.S. Army, Loyd O'Byrne and Billy O'Byrne, Picher; three daughters, Mrs. Dora Griffin, Wichita Kansas, and Misses Viola O'Byrne and Rosalie O'Byrne, Picher; two brothers, B. G. O'Byrne, Austin Texas, and Pat O'Byrne, Cedar Bluffs Virginia, and three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Quackenbush, Cresent City California, Mrs. Tessie Banister, Paisley Oregon, and Mrs. Nannie Carico, McCloud Oklahoma. Burial will be made in the G.A.R. cemetery under direction of the Durnil funeral home of Picher.
