A picket at the Velie Lion Mine, west of Cardin Oklahoma, was reported to have been beaten this morning by several men. The trouble, it was reported, was not of serious nature. Sheriff Eli Dry was informed and immediately told Norton that he would arrest the men provided Norton came to the county attorney's office and swore out a complaint against them.
