He is survived by three sons, Leon North, Jerry North and Wayman North of the home; his mother, Mrs. Minnie North, of the same address; four brothers, Willie North, Everett North, Cecil North and Joe North, all of Picher; and four sisters, Mrs. Allie Sanders, Mrs. Marie Thompson, Mrs. Leona Swazey and Mrs. June Douglas. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Durnil funeral home, Picher.

Funeral services for Ray North, 39 year-old miner who died at his home in Picher Jan 27, will be held from the Durnil chapel at 1 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Robert Burns officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview cemetery at Joplin Missouri under the direction of the Durnil funeral home, Picher.
