Within a few minutes after being stricken with a hemorrhage yesterday afternoon while at work at a used lumber yard on South Main Street at Picher Oklahoma, George Nimmo, 42 years old, died after several years of failing health. Mr. Nimmo resided in Picher since 1918, and was employed in the mines most of that time. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ben Coffelt of Baxter Springs Kansas, and Mrs. Clara Pearson of Burbank California and two brothers, Olen Nimmo of Bristow Oklahoma and Roxie Nimmo of Carterville Missouri. Funeral services will be conducted at the First Baptist church Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the pastor, the Rev. C. E. Bergen, officiating. A male quartet of the Baxter Springs Baptist church will sing. Burial will be in Baxter Springs cemetery under direction of Todd undertaking company, Picher.
