Cooper funeral records indicate that Mr. Niday was born Dec 3, 1895. Final rites for Clarence Eph' Niday will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the Cooper funeral home chapel. Funeral arrangements were incomplete today for Clarence Eph' Niday, 61 year old Miami resident who died unexpectedly Sunday morning in New Mexico. Niday and his wife, left Miami Friday to visit his sister, Mrs. Walter Howard, who lives near Clayton New Mexico. Niday had been connected with mining operations all of his adult life until retiring in 1945. He was a co-owner of the Shelton Mine in Picher Oklahoma. He had lived in Miami 20 years and in the district all his life. The well-known Miamian was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion. His wife, Mrs. Edna Niday, of the home, 401 G Street northeast, and Mrs. Howard are the only survivors. The body will be received by the Cooper funeral home.
