Neff, Bee [?]

Carl Junction Missouri. A mining boom for the Smithfield section near here is expected by men interested in mining. A shaft has been stared on the Ellis land by Bee Neff and associates of Webb City Missouri and Newt Doty and associates have taken an option on the McBee and Martin land near the old Isherwood Mine, which was once a great producer. Holes are said to have shown a good face of ore on the Ellis land from 15 feet to 135 feet. The McBee brothers, drillers, say that holes they drilled on their land are as good as any they ever put down and that while there has been a hitch in the arrangements between themselves, and Mr. Doty, will probably be begun soon in that section.
