Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Claremore Oklahoma Baptist church for Joseph Walter Nave, long-time Miami resident who died at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday at the Indian hospital in Claremore. He was 65 years old. Nave, who was a retired miner, resided at 709 N Street northwest, Miami. He had been in ill health for 10 years and had lived in Miami since 1926. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Eva Nave; a son, Calvin Nave, Tulsa Oklahoma; a sister, Mrs. Ida Price, Claremore; three half-sisters, Mrs. Amanda Boydston, Mrs. Sue Tuttle and Mrs. P. Bindler, all of California, and a half-brother, Alfred Nave, Dover New Jersey. The Reverend McCracken of Claremore will officiate at the services. Burial will be in the Lone Elm cemetery, near Claremore, under direction of the Miami funeral home.
