died Saturday at 5:20 am, Nov 13, 1999, at Baptist Regional Hospital in Miami. He was born Jun 18, 1903 in Neck City Missouri to George W. Morgan and Hallie Cruse Morgan. He was 96 years 4 months and 26 days of age. He was united in marriage to Willie Davis in 1928 in Miami and she preceded him in death in 1963. He was a retired lead and zinc miner, having worked for 31 years in the Tri-State area and a farmer. He is survived by one daughter, Violet Hopkins of Fairland Oklahoma; four half sisters, Yvonne Allen, Dora Mae Gray of Commerce, Dorothy Barton of Afton Oklahoma, Billie Jean Nodine of Quapaw Oklahoma; a friend, Freda Moss of Miami; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Visition was Monday evening from 7 to 8 at the Paul Thomas funeral home Chapel. A graveside services is Wednesday, Nov 17, at 10 am in the Ozark Memorial Park in Joplin Missouri.
