Moorman, Joseph W.

of Commerce Oklahoma, died Jun 27 in the Picher Oklahoma hospital following a short illness. Mr. Moorman, who was 68 years old, was an employee of the Eagle- Picher Mining and Smelting Company. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Mae Moorman of Webb City Missouri; three daughters and two sons. Funeral services were held at the chapel of the Durnil funeral home, Picher, Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with the Rev. Paul Stevick of Joplin Missouri officiating. Burial was in the Mount Hope cemetery at Joplin. Musical numbers were furnished by Mrs. Nola Osborn and Mrs. Sybil Keithley. Pallbearers were Arthur Wood, Fred Seamon, Lawrence Collings, Ray Hargrove, Lon Donavandt, Jr. and Wilbur Studebaker.
