Johnny Moore, 30 years old, a well known Picher miner, died Sunday morning in a hospital at Las Vegas Nevada, as a result of injuries received five hours earlier in an accident on the Boulder Dam project, where he had been employed the last four months. Details of the accident were not contained in a message received by the widow, Mrs. Hattie Moore, 215 South Treece Street, Picher. It is understood, however, that Moore was working on the night shift in a tunnel with several other workmen. Besides the widow, surviving are two children, Clarence Moore, 11 years old, and Maggie Moore, 9, at home; his father, J. W. Moore of Salina Utah; a brother, Carl Moore, living near Salida, and a sister, Mrs. Nora May Gordon of Treece Kansas. The body will be returned to Picher for burial. N. W. Green, of the Green undertaking company, left yesterday in a motor car for Las Vegas to get the body, being accompanied by a brother-in-law of the victim. Moore left Picher four months ago to work on the construction of the dam.

The body of Johnny Moore, 30 years old, a well known Picher miner, who was killed accidentally at Las Vegas, a week ago while working on Boulder Dam, was expected to arrive in Picher either last night or today, according to the Green undertaking company, which is in charge of the funeral. Arrangements had not been completed late today for the funeral. Moore's family resides at 215 South Treece Street.

Funeral rites for Johnny Moore, 30 years old, 215 South Treece Street, who died at Las Vegas, 10 days ago as a result of injuries received while working on Boulder Dam, will be conducted at the Union church at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The officiating clergyman will be the Rev. Robert Nichols, pastor of the Assembly of God church, and burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery, at Miami under direction of the Green undertaking company.
