Arthur E. Mishler, 44, of Paul Idaho, a former resident of Baxter Springs Kansas and Quapaw Oklahoma, died Thursday in the Latter Day Saints hospital at Salt Lake City Utah, following an illness of two weeks. Mishler, an employee of Vaught Drilling company, Baxter Springs Kansas, was transferred to Idaho mining duties a year ago. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vera Mishler, and three children, Shirley Kay Mishler, Wayne Mishler and Dennis Mishler, all of the home.

Final rites will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday at the Quapaw Assembly of God church with the Rev. Norman Johnston, pastor, officiating. Additional survivors are his mother, Mrs. Emma Price, Oroville California and four sisters, Mrs. Beulah Stafford and Mrs. Nadine Dowty, both of Oroville; Elsie Hopper, Palmero Californian and Ethel Siler, Geonoa Neveda. Burial will be G.A.R. cemetery, Miami, under direction of the Jim Thomas funeral home, Commerce.
