...Mr. Miller was a miner before retirement because of failing health. He had resided at Commerce most of his life and was an Army veteran of World War II. He also had served in the Navy. He was a member of the First Baptist church, Commerce. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Carol Furtago of Sunnyvale California, and Mrs. Helen Wilkins, Santa Clara California; a step-daughter, Mrs. Leona Cole, Fort Worth Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Itta Caldwell of Miami, Mrs. Lila Burris, North Miami and Mrs. Lillie Cherry, Commerce and seven grandchildren...Pallbearers were Andy Eddings, Bill Lawrence, Jim Mullin, Henry Buller, Joe Larkin and Steven Henson.
