Funeral services for John H. Miller, formerly of Picher Oklahoma, who died at 7 o'clock Sunday morning at Albuquerque New Mexico, while en route to his home in Missouri will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Hedge-Lewis funeral home in Webb City Missouri. The Rev. E. M. Wheatley of Baxter Springs Kansas, will officiate. Burial will be in the Weaver cemetery. Miller lived in Picher when he was a boy and young man, and was at one time a ground boss for the Kansas Exploration Company. Due to ill health he left Waco Missouri, last November and had been residing in Arizona. He is survived by his widow, Daisy Miller; five sons, Harold Miller, of Baxter Springs; Fred Miller, of Joplin Missouri; Robert Miller of Ponca City Oklahoma; and Floyd Miller and Donnie Miller of the home, one daughter, Mrs. Frances Johnson, of California; three brothers, Charlie Miller of Pittsburg California; Roy Miller and Ernest Miller of Metaline Washington; one sister, Mrs. George Sharp of Picher.
