Rites for Charley B. Miller, 65 year old retired mine hoisterman, will be conducted at the Assembly of god church in Hockerville Oklahoma at 2 pm Monday. The Rev. Oren L. Perry will officiate. Pallbearers will be Frank Gebhart, Ellis Hayes, Harold Yost, Clarence Britt and Dewey Knight and Obe Knight. The body will lie in state at the family home in Hockerville from 3:30 this afternoon until the funeral hour. A resident of the Tri-State district for the last 25 years, Miller died in Miami Baptist hospital Saturday morning. He had been ill three months. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Laura Miller of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Madeline Noel of Tulsa dnd Miss Tina Miller of Fort Smith Arkansas, and six sons, Tom Miller, Buford Miller, Sherman Miller, Ray Miller, Jacob Miller and Harvey Miller, all of Fort Smith Arkansas. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery under direction of the Hunter funeral home of Picher.
