44 year old Picher man, died at 8:15 o'clock Thursday morning at his home, 122 South Frisco Street, Picher Oklahoma. A resident of Picher for 29 years, he lived with his mother, Mrs. May Miller. Miller had been a blacksmith for the Rialto Mining Company for the past 12 years and had been seriously ill for three months. Survivors, besides his mother, are two brothers, Wendell Miller, Coffeyville Kansas, and Maj. Dudley Miller, stationed in the Army at San Francisco California Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Union church in Picher. The Rev. J. H. Mott will officiate. Honorary pallbearers are to be Ted Kersey, Jimmy Stephens, Edward McGuire, Jack Smith, Floyd Johnson and Bruce Smith. Active pallbearers will be Earl Daugherty, Clarence Vann, Harold Jones, Louie Grayson, Henry King and Virgil Sykes. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery under direction of Goodson- Durnil funeral home, Picher.
