A Baxter Springs mine foreman, died Sunday at St. John's hospital, Joplin Missouri, at 3:30 pm, following a long illness. Milholland, who was born and reared in Webb City Missouri; had lived in recent years at 225 West 13th Street, Baxter Springs. Surviving are his wife, Druce Milholland and daughters, Juanita Milholland and Jean Milholland of the home; two other daughters, Mrs. C. Williams of Kansas City, and Mrs. A. Wyatt of Spokane Washington; four sons, Mauray Milholland and Eddie Ray Milholland of the home and Harry Milholland and Roy F. Milholland of the armed forces; his mother, Mrs. Ed Meredith of Baxter Springs, and two sisters, Mrs. Gertie Elliott of California and Mrs. Fay Hamilton of Baxter Springs. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm at the First Baptist church, Baxter Springs, with the pastor of that church, Rev. H. Ogden officiating. Burial will be in Baxter Springs cemetery. Hoskins-Wene funeral home is in charge.
