Metz, Frank

Funeral services were held for Frank Metz at a Joplin Missouri funeral home Tuesday. Mr. Metz, a former miner in Tri-State district, was fatally injured at Carmel New York, where he was employed as a workman in a tunnel. Mr. Metz died Dec 22. Besides his wife, Mrs. Emma Metz, he is survived by two sons, Edward Metz and Frank J. Metz; a daughter, Kathleen Metz, all of Carmel New York. The family resided in Hockerville Oklahoma until recent months. Burial was in the Hill Crest cemetery near Galena Kansas. Among those attending from Hockerville were Mr. and Mrs. Verl Keller, Elden Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Bennett Laws.
