60 year old longtime resident of Picher Oklahoma and World War I veteran, died at the Veterans hospital in Muskogee at 4:30 a.m. today. He had been hospitalized since Dec 3. The retired lead and zinc miner's home was at 613 North Connell avenue, Picher. McCoy, who moved to Picher about 30 years ago, is survived by a son, Carl Redden of Stockton California, and a foster-aunt, Mrs. Cashie Oliphant of Picher. The body will be received by the Roberson-Hunter funeral home.

Funeral services for Jack McCoy, 60 year old World War I veteran and longtime resident of Picher who died at the Veterans hospital, in Muskogee Oklahoma Tuesday, will be conducted at the Roberson-Hunter chapel in Picher at 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Rev. R. J. Palmer will officiate. Members of Sprigg-Hance post No. 150 of the American Legion in Picher will act as pallbearers and conduct military rites at the grave in G.A.R. cemetery, Miami.
