McClellan, John B.

41 year old former Picher Oklahoma miner and World War II veteran, died this morning at the Veterans hospital, in Sulphur Oklahoma, where he had been a patient for nearly two years. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Fleming of Silverton Oregon, and Mrs. L. W. O'Rourke of Kansas City Missouri. The body will be taken to Picher by Goodson-Durnil funeral home.

Funeral services for John B. McClellan, 41 year old Picher Oklahoma miner and World War II veteran who died at the Veterans hospital in Sulphur Oklahoma, Friday, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist church in Picher. Virgil Hopkins of Miami and the Rev. Gloyd Lukehart of Picher will officiate. Military rites will be conducted at the grave. Burial will be under direction of the Goodson-Durnil funeral home, Picher.
