McCartney, John

Funeral services for John McCartney, 73 years old, who died Sunday morning at the Jasper county tuberculosis hospital at Webb City Missouri, were conducted at 2:30 this afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. R. D. Benton, in Baxter Springs Kansas. The Rev George Jones of Baxter Springs officiated. Burial was in Hillcrest cemetery at Galena Kansas under direction of the Durnil funeral home, Picher Oklahoma. Mr. McCartney was a former Picher resident and long time resident of the Tri-State district.
