Funeral services will be held at San Francisco Monday afternoon for John Thomas McCann, 83, former Tri-State district resident who died Thursday at the home of a son, John W. McCann, in Mountain View California The elder McCann moved to San Francesco 21 years ago from Picher. He also had resided at Webb City Missouri, while engaged in his profession as a mining engineer. His wife, Mary Madie' McCann, died March 19, 1953. He is survived by another son, Frank McCann, Norwalk California; four daughters, Mrs. Lauriene Conners, Portland Oregon; Nadine Andis, San Francisco; Olive Snider, Commerce Oklahoma, and Mrs. Ruth Alpers, San Francisco; 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Olivet cemetery at San Francisco.
