Abstract Data

Hiram McBee - 65 year old Ottawa county Oklahoma mining pioneer, died at the Miami Baptist hospital, Tuesday morning, following a heart attack Saturday. Mr. McBee has been a lifelong resident of the county and was one of the first mining men to start operations in this field. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Hiram McBee of the home in Miami; four daughters, Mrs. Jack Weir; Mrs. Clarence Carselowey; Mrs. L. R. Walker, Jr.; and Mrs. Kermit Marshall of Miami; three sons, J. Gordon and Willard McBee and five grandchildren, all of Miami. Mr. McBee was well known thru this district. Funeral services are under the direction of the Cooper funeral home, Miami.
