Picher, Oklahoma, Sept 6 William Martin - Funeral services for William Martin, 57 years old, who died early yesterday morning at his home on College Street, Picher Oklahoma, will be conducted at the Union church at 9 Saturday morning. The Rev. Billie Bain, pastor of the First Baptist church will officiate, and burial will be at Aurora Missouri. Mr. Martin was a well known miner of the Picher district. He had resided here many years, all of which time he had worked as a miner, being one of the oldest employees of the Eagle-Picher Mining company and being last employed as ground foreman at the Lucky Jew Mine. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Martin; two daughters, Mrs. Ina Arthur and Mrs. Pearl Johnson of Picher; two sons, Carl Martin and Edward Martin at home; one brother, Fred Martin of Kansas City, and two sisters, Mrs. Stella Sherman and Mrs. Lillian Morris of Kansas City. The funeral will be under direction of the Green undertaking company.
