Note: or Leo Benjamin Martin. A miner at the Blue Mound Mine, committed suicide Tuesday night at 6:30 o'clock by taking four ounces of carbolic acid. Martin's body was found at the home of Mrs. Neff, who is the mother of his former wife, who had been granted a divorce about three weeks ago. How Martin got into the home of Mrs. Neff is not known to any members of the family, but his divorced wife, discovered the body. In the dead man's hand was the picture of his former wife, and child. It is reported Martin secured the poison from a local druggist representing that he wanted to mix it with hog feed. The body was taken to the rooms of the Picher undertaking company where it is held pending word from his father, Ervin Martin of Fort Smith Arkansas, who has been notified.

Leo Benjamin Martin, The body of Leo Benjamin Martin, who committed suicide at Treece Kansas, Tuesday night, will be sent to Fort Smith Arkansas, Thursday for burial. Ervin Martin, his father, and a brother, Henry Martin, survive him at that place.

- - The funeral of Leo Benjamin Martin of Treece Kansas, who committed suicide at that place, February 26, was held this afternoon, from the chapel of the Picher undertaking company. Burial was in the Miami cemetery. H. E. Martin, of Cushing Oklahoma, a brother, was present but the father, Ervin Martin, and another brother, W. H. Martin, of Arkansas, could not be present on account of sickness. Note: There are two different names for the apparent same man. There are also two different burial places noted.
