age 37, a shoveler, who has been employed in the Blue Mound Mines for some time, committed suicide Tuesday night at 6:30 o'clock, at the Neff boarding house in Treece Kansas. He used carbolic acid, getting four ounces of that poison, stating that he was going to use it as a disinfectant in his hog pens. The boy is held awaiting the arrival of his father, Irvan Martin, and brother Henry Martin from Fort Smith Arkansas.
