a miner died at 7:20 o'clock Saturday morning from pneumonia at a boarding house owned by H. Lewis at No. 616 Main Street, Picher Oklahoma. Throughout his illness he refused to go to bed and died in a chair. He was employed until his illness as a shoveler in the Golden Rod Mine No. 4. He leaves a daughter in Ardmore Oklahoma. Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Todd undertaking company, Picher, Monday at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Burial will be in the Miami cemetery.
