Manos, Herbert W.

died Wednesday, Mar 20, 1996, at Mayes County Medical Center, Pryor Oklahoma. He was 85. Mr. Manos was born on Mar 29, 1910, in Arkansas. He was a miner with Eagle- Picher Company. He was married to Ruth L. Kempel. She survives, of the home. He moved to Pryor in 1974 from Commerce Oklahoma and was a member of First Baptist Church in Commerce. Additional survivors include one son, Earl Manos, Pryor; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol Green and Joe Green, Morris; one brother, Wilford Manos, Siloam Springs Arkansas; seven grandchildren, and 23 great- grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Friday, Mar 22, at G.A.R. cemetery in Miami, with Rev. A. J. Manos officiating. Services are under the direction of Jim Thomas funeral home of Commerce.
