who was taken quite ill about ten days ago, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duncan, who reside north of this city, Friday night, and the remains were shipped to Menlo Iowa Saturday for burial. Deceased was twenty-three years of age and leaves besides his wife, and daughter, a father and mother to mourn his loss. Mrs. Dungan was his cousin. Mrs. Maines and his parents accompanied the remains to their resting place. He died of typhoid fever after every means had been made to save his life. The young man was well known among the business men of the city as he drilled extensively in the mining district and consequently made many friends, owing to his sunny disposition and good habitss.
