64 years old, died at his home on the state line, north of Picher Oklahoma, at 9:15 o'clock this morning. He was a miner and member of the Woodmen of the World. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ora Madden; one son, Earl Madden, Picher; one daughter, Mrs. Imogene Scraggs, Newport Arkansas and four grandchildren. The Durnil funeral home, Picher, will announce the funeral arrangements.

Funeral services for Robert "Shorty" Madden will be held at the First Baptist church at Treece at 7 o'clock tonight, the Rev. H. A. Moudy officiating. The body will be taken to Newport Arkansas for burial with the Durnil funeral home, Picher, in charge.
