of Osburn Idaho, died Wednesday, Jul 14, 1999, at the Mountain Valley Care and Rehab. in Kellogg Idaho. He was 72. He was born Feb 10, 1927, at Joplin Missouri, the son of Thomas Lovesee and Frances Birkner Lovesee. A resident of the Silver Valley since 1958, he moved to the area from Picher Oklahoma. He worked the Sunshine Mine as a miner for 25 years, retiring in 1989. He had also worked for the Buker Hill Company and ASASRC Company. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the Osburn Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1675. He married Fannie Mae June Crews in 1947 in Columbus Kansas. They were married for 52 years. Survivors include his wife, at the family home in Osburn; a daughter, Bobbie Thompson of Pinehurst; a granddaughter, Tammie Thompson of Pinehurst; a great-granddaughter, Shaina Thompson of Pinehurst; his mother Frances Lovesee of Miami; three brothers, Fred Lovesee of Kingsley Kansas, Tom Lovesee of Miami, and Gary Lovesee of Commerce Oklahoma; and a sister, Ruby Smith of Miami. The funeral was 3 pm Friday, Jul 16, at the Kellogg funeral chapel in Kellogg with Pastor Ken Bartle officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Shoshone funeral service of Kellogg.
