A retired miner who had lived in Ottawa county Oklahoma, since 1909 and in Miami for 30 years, died at 3 am today at Miami Baptist hospital following an extended illness. He had been hospitalized since Sunday. Of 214 I Street northwest, Miami, Mr. Longenbaugh, 74, lived at Quapaw Oklahoma before coming to Miami. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lottie Longenbaugh; three sons Charles Longenbaugh of Miami; John Longenbaugh, Seneca Missouri, and Pete Longenbaugh, of the Miami home; two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Jones and Mrs. Helen Scott, both of Kansas City Missouri; a brother, Harley Longenbaugh, Seneca; four sister, Mrs. Neva Gatley of Fairplay Colorado; Mrs. Ed Nicholson of Wyandotte Oklahoma, Mrs. Dora Leggett of Alice Texas, and Mrs. Lena Robinson, Sandstone Minnesota; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 pm in the chapel of the Cooper mortuary with Rev. Lloyd Peters, First Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery, Miami.
