NEW FIRE EXTINGUISHER - Walter Lee, an employee of the St. Joe Mine yesterday placed a premium on a new kind of fire extinguisher, and believes that it is a howling success. Passing a home on Netta Street on his way home from work he saw a coal oil stove on fire, while the woman of the house, Mrs. Jane Lane was out. The only thing at hand with which to fight the flame was a pot of coffee which was keeping hot for the evening meal about due. This he used with immediate success. No damage was done except the slight damage to the stove and the loss of the coffee.
