Good ideas about what to do about the water as the mines filled, but these ideas were cast aside as the mines filled.." Chat not a problem was the topic.."In the early days of the mines, the area was looked on as a God send for many of the men and families that lived in the Tri-State area. The mines helped build Miami, and the area all around Miami. We can't blame the mines and what they produced. All this talk about high risk and where to place the blame should not be on the miners...Note: A good article.
