- Funeral services for Raymond H. Kirkpatrick, 45 years old, will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Bethel community church at Twenty-first Street and Military avenue, with the Rev. W. O. Singletarry officiating. Burial will be in the Lowell Kansas cemetery. Pallbearers will be Herman Weston, John Hartley, Albert Wilson, Harley Watts, Leonard Watts and Gerald Sexton. Mr. Kirkpatrick died at 4:50 o'clock Thursday afternoon at this home after five months of illness. He had worked in the lead and zinc mines for 25 years. He came to Baxter in 1918 from Joplin Missouri where he was born.

Baxter Springs Kansas. Raymond H. Kirkpatrick, 45 years old, died Thursday afternoon at his home. He had been in ill health for five months. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Pearl Kirkpatrick; four daughters, Juanita Kirkpatrick, Loretta Kirkpatrick, Mildred Kirkpatrick and Lois Kirkpatrick of the home; three sons, Raymond Kirkpatrick, Jr., Henry D. Kirkpatrick, and Leroy Kirkpatrick of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James R. Kirkpatrick; six brothers, Henry Kirkpatrick, Robert Kirkpatrick, Lester Kirkpatrick, Charles Kirkpatrick and Ernest Kirkpatrick, all of Baxter Springs, and Virgil Kirkpatrick of California, and two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Winter of Baxter Springs and Mrs. Mary Todd of Arkansas.
