Funeral services for Isaac F. "Dell' Kirk, 59 years old, who died at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at his home on West 12th Street in Baxter Springs Kansas, will be conducted at the Bethel Community church, Twenty-first Street and Military avenue in Baxter Springs, at 2:00 Sunday afternoon. The Rev. Walter Michener will officiate, and burial will be in the Lowell Kansas cemetery; under direction of the Hoskins-Wene funeral home. Mr. Kirk's death followed an illness of two years. He was born in Springfield Missouri and came to Baxter Springs, from Duenweg Missouri. He was a miner and farmer. Mr. Kirk was a member of the Apostolic Faith church. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Lula Kirk; his father, C. M. Kirk of Zincville Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. Belva Goodman of California and Mrs. Thurman Pliler of Baxter Springs; one son, Walter Smith of Baxter Springs; three sisters, Mrs. O. F. Love of California, Mrs. Andrew Christiansen of Washington and Mrs. Lillie Means of Missouri; three brothers, Albert Kirk of Lowell Kansas, Clyde Kirk of California and Fred Kirk of Hector Arkansas, and three grandchildren.
