Keithley, James Martin

a resident of Picher Oklahoma, 40 years, died unexpectedly Sunday morning at the home of a son, William Keithley, of rural Oronogo Missouri. He was 87. A retired millman, Mr. Keithley was a native of Taney county Missouri, who moved to Picher from Duneweg Missouri. He was a charter member of Picher's First Baptist church where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, beginning at 2 pm. Surviving are one other son, Rev. L. D. Keithley, Joplin Missouri; a daughter, Mrs. Olive Morton, Miami; a brother, Henry Keithley, Beagle Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Houchines and Mrs. Bertha Duggall, both of Aurora Missouri; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in the Hillcrest cemetery, Galena Kansas.
