94 years old, died at 1:40 o'clock this morning while visiting in the home of a son, William A. Jones, at Treece. He was a retired teamster and came to Hockerville Oklahoma, from Salt Lake City Utah, in 1925. He was a member of the Mormon faith. Surviving are three other sons, Elmer D. Jones of Lawton, Manuel Jones of Baxter Springs Kansas Rt 1, and John Jones of Picher Oklahoma; a brother, Wesley Jones of Mountain Grove Missouri; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. The body was received by the Goodson-Durnil funeral home at Picher Oklahoma. Funeral services for William A. Jones, 94 years old, who died Friday morning, will be conducted at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Goodson-Durnil chapel in Picher. The Rev. Henry Ford of Picher will officiate, and burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery in Kansas, northwest of Picher Oklahoma and Treece Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be John Bailey, Tommy Collins, M. E. Lake, Albert Greenlee and Floyd H. Cotter.
