a well known miner of the Picher Oklahoma district and more commonly known as Twink Jones, died Apr 8, 1924, age 36, at Phoenix Arizona, on Tuesday morning, from tuberculosis. Jones and his wife recently went to Arizona from Picher, where he had been employed as ground foreman at one of the hard rock lead and zinc mines for some time. Previous to residing in Picher he made his home at Webb City Missouri. Jones' body will arrive at Baxter Springs Kansas tonight accompanied by Mrs. Jones.

The body was to have arrived at Baxter Springs today, but owning to delayed train service it will not arrive until Sunday. The funeral will be held from the home of Ben Bryant of Baxter Springs Kansas. Mrs. Bryant is a sister of Mr. Jones. Burial will be in the Baxter Springs cemetery.
