a hemorrhage of the lungs was fatal at 8:30 o'clock last night to Charles A. Tom' Jones, 29, of Picher Oklahoma as he and his family were en route to Afton Oklahoma, where they planned to attend church services. Jones died in his automobile several miles south of Miami on U. S. Highway 66. He was a hard rock lead and zinc miner, in the employ of the Eagle-Picher Mining and Smelting Company. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lula Jones; two daughters, Fern Jones and Charlene Dixie Jones; his mother, Mrs. Mollie Jones, and five brothers. Completed funeral arrangements will be announced by the Durnil funeral home of Picher.

Funeral services for Jones, who died Saturday night, were held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon in the Assembly of God church in Picher. The Rev. James Davis, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery at Galena Kansas, with the Durnil funeral home directing...In addition to named survivors are brothers Bud Jones, Dave Jones, Walter Jones and Clifford Jones, all of Picher and a sister Mrs. Cecil Coy of Coffeyville Kansas.
