47 year old former Eagle-Picher Company employee and longtime resident of Picher Oklahoma, died unexpectedly in his home at 526 North Emily Street at 7 a.m. Saturday. He had been in failing health for several months. Jackson, who lived in Picher for the past 30 years, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Irene Jackson of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Livesay and Mrs. Clara Lee Poole, both of Picher; his mother, Mrs. Josephine Davis, and a brother, Clarence Jackson, both of Edwardsville Illinois; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Baldwin of Joplin Missouri and Mrs. Bessie Warren of Asbury Missouri, and four grandchildren. The Hunter funeral home will announce arrangements for services and burial.

Final rites for Charles Franklin Jackson, 47 year old longtime resident of Picher, will be conducted at the Hunter mortuary chapel in Picher at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. F. E. Crane will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami. Pallbearers will be Ellis Striping, Carl Davis, Cecil Williams, Ralph Anderson, Jerry Williams and James Cruzan. A former employee of the Eagle-Picher Company, Jackson died in his home Saturday.
