Hutchens, Byron "Time and a Half"

The legend of the squeaking ball arm is now believed to be a myth. People witnessing the Eagles-Miners ball game at Baxter Springs Kansas, last Sunday, but failed to hear a sound from Byron Hutchins' arm. Maybe that was because there was so much rootin.

If Byron Hutchens has ever been guilty of mental errors, he certainly corrected them all last Sunday in the game with the Barr Mine Miners' ball team. By the way, Byron has a new summer-style haircut. Guess you'll all be seeing that at the game this afternoon when Byron comes out from behind his cage.

Byron Hutchens arrived at work Saturday morning with a toothpick in his mouth. But he did get there on time-from an article on local events.
