age 60, of 311 South Cowgill, Carl Junction Missouri, died Wednesday in St. John's Medical Center, Joplin Missouri where he had been a patient since May 8. Born Aug 29, 1911, at Carl Junction, Mr. Huddleston was employed 35 years by the Eagle-Picher Mining Company, including 20 years as superintendent for the company at Cardin Oklahoma. After semi-retirement he served as an Eagle-Picher watchman at Cardin Oklahoma, until becoming ill May 7. He was a member of the American Institute of Metallurgical Engineers. He was a 1930 graduate of Carl Junction high school. Surviving are his wife, the former Josephine Wright, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Grace Ann Speakman, Carl Junction; a sister, Mrs. Erma Swope of Conroe Texas, and two grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday in the Frisco church at Webb City Missouri with the Rev. G. K. Rees officiating. Burial will be in the Carl Junction cemetery under direction of Roney mortuary of Carl Junction, where the body will lie in state until noon Saturday.
