Funeral services for Thomas Henry Howell, 46 years old, will be held at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Douthat Baptist church. The Rev. D. L. Cook will officiate. Pallbearers will be Clarence Jones, Sam Hale, Pete Leggett, Perry Foyleman, Guy E. Carnes and Reaf Lee. Burial Dec 15, 1946, in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami under direction of Goodson-Durnil funeral home.

died Dec 17, 1946, age 46, at 7 o'clock this morning at his home in Douthat Oklahoma, following an illness of several years. A hard rock lead and zinc miner. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Howell; two sons, Jack Howell and Richard Howell, both of the home; one brother Charley Howell, Broken Arrow Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Wilbur, McCurtain Oklahoma, Mrs. Ollie Wallace, Okemah Oklahoma, and Mrs. Jennie Hollbrook, Commerce.
