a Picher Oklahoma resident since 1926, died at his home at 622 East A Street, Friday morning at 4:30 o'clock. He was 49 years old and was employed with the Eagle-Picher Mining Company. Mr. Howe was a member of the Methodist church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Helen Howe of the home; his mother, Mrs. Anna Howe of Picher; five daughters, Mrs. Nadine Banks of Burbank California; Mrs. Louise Perry of Commerce Oklahoma; Mrs. Phyllis Sexton of Santa Monica California; Mrs. Dorla Davis of Picher and Sharon Howe of the home; a brother, Earl Howe of Picher and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon at the Methodist church in Picher. Rev. R. J. Palmer affiliated. Burial was in the G.A.R. cemetery at Miami under direction of the Morton Lundy funeral home. Pallbearers were Austin Keithley, Elbert Dude' Rowe, Melvin Murphy, Harry Ross, Eddie Diebold and James Modlin.
