34 years old, formerly ground foreman at the L. & G. Mine and before that the ground boss at the Oko Mine, died at 11 o'clock today at his home, 717 South Francis Street, Picher Oklahoma. He had been in ill health two years and confined to bed two months. He had lived here 10 years and was well known. Mr. Hoover leaves his wife, Mrs. Leona Hoover; one son, Gilbert Hoover, 15; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hoover of Picher, and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Sunday under direction of the Todd undertaking company. The Picher I O O F, of which he was a member, probably will have charge of the services. Mr. Hoover lived at Reeds Missouri, where he was born, before coming to Picher.

Funeral services for Orville G. Hoover, 34 years old, well known miner of the district, who died yesterday at his home, 717 South Francis Street, will be held at the First Methodist church at 11 o'clock Sunday morning. The Rev. D. W. Brashear will officiate. Services will be in charge of the Picher Masonic lodge. Burial will be at Sarcoxie Missouri, under direction of the Todd undertaking company. Mr. Hover had been ill two years, having been compelled to give up his work in the mines about four months ago. He was last employed as ground foreman at the L. & G. Mine, previous to which he was employed in a similar capacity at the Oko Mine several years. He was born at Reeds Missouri, where he lived until he came to Picher 10 years ago.
