Picher Oklahoma, May 1 T. Hollard, a Picher miner living at 516 River Street, Picher, made a successful balloon ascension from the Netta Street school grounds, Fourth and Netta Streets at 3:15 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The wind conditions were ideal. Hollard made a parachute descent, landing on the White Mine lease, West A Street. Before the war, Hallard made many professional flights. He will enter the profession again this season.
