After serving as a superintendent for the Commerce Mining and Royalty Company for 22 years, Mr. Holden operated the Smoke Hill Mining Company from 1939 until his retirement in 1946...surviving are his wife, Mrs. Dora Holden of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Chaney of Miami; a brother and sister; two half-brothers; a half-sister; two granddaughters and a great-granddaughter.
