Hemphill, Commerce trucker and mining equipment dealer, died unexpectedly early today after suffering a heart attack at his home in Commerce. He succumbed at 1:30 o'clock, shortly after being rushed to Miami Baptist hospital by ambulance. Hemphill, 54, had lived in Commerce the past 28 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Gladys Hempbhill of the home; three sons, J. B. Hemphill and Jim Hemphill, both of the home, and Earl Dean Hemphill, 318 North Maple Street; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Shaw, Hayward California, and Mrs. Cleo Revels, North Miami, and two brothers, Herman Hemphill and Leon Hemphill, both of North Miami Oklahoma.
